One of the fun things about digis is that they can be used in both printed and digital form, giving you amazing flexibility in your crafting. You can print them out on paper to use as accents on your cards and gift items, but you can also use them in their original digital format as accents for digital scrapbooking. Today I thought I'd share a few digital scrapbook pages made with our digis.
This first page celebrates a precious reunion that I had this last summer. My two sisters and I were separated by adoption 32 years ago, but found each other again through Facebook a couple of years ago. (God is so good!!!) In August, I finally got to "meet" my youngest sister, Cynthia. Words can't begin to describe how good it felt to hug her for the first time in so many years, but hopefully I've captured some of the joy in this page. To make this page, I used elements from the "Stitched With Love" set.
Here is a lovely page made by designer Melissa Craig. Melissa is an avid digital scrapbooker, and has such a wonderful eye for detail! Here she created a page that is as warm and festive as the holiday decorations in her home, using the angel from the "Country Christmas" set as an accent.
This is another page created by Melissa, using the October "Digi of the Month" -- "Fall Bulldog." Everything about this page makes me smile, and I find myself wanting to jump right into that pile of leaves with her children!
Finally, here is another page that I created to celebrate another amazing reunion that I had this year. In May I was able to reconnect with my dear childhood friend, Annette. For this page, I used elements from the "Lots of Thoughts" set.
As you can hopefully see, digis are definitely useful for more than just cards! :-)
