Please Don't Share Digi Files

Dear Crafty Friends,

It was with great sadness today that I had to ask for some of my digis to be removed from Pinterest (TM). I was honored that someone would like my artwork so much that they would want to share it with the world. I choose to believe that it was done without malice. However, sharing my digis online -- or in any way other than as part of a finished project (e.g. card, scrapbook page) -- is against the Deedee's Digis Terms of Use. It also breaks United States Copyright law. This applies equally to those digis that are purchased, won as prizes, or offered here as freebies.

Please, friends, if there is a digi of mine that you would like someone to know about, share the link to to the shop. If it is a "freebie," please share the link to its post here on the blog. But please don't break the law by sharing the file, OK? Thank you very much for respecting my work in this way.

Sincerely,

Deedee

  1. Really, people should know better by now. I am glad you had them removed. I don't know how artists can make any money when other people keep giving the digis away. I never share digis, never. Hope people soon realize this is a crime.

    Take care,
    Kitty
