Rustic Leaves

Technically we have summer for about another month, but I've noticed the leaves are already starting to change. Considering that I live in California, and we don't normally have much of a Fall, this is pretty remarkable to me. My backyard is already covered in fallen leaves from our oak trees, and this morning I noticed maple leaves skittering on the sidewalk out front from our neighbor's tree. Maybe this year we will get a real Fall -- a girl can hope!  :-)

Seeing all those lovely, multi-colored, fallen leaves put me in the mind to do some Fall crafting. I am working hard to get our older Fall digis into the store for those who might be of similar mind, but we do have some new Fall digis for you to choose from. Here is a card that I made with one of those sets, "Rustic Leaves." I used the pre-colored images on this one. As you know, I love to color, and sometimes when I use pre-colored images, I feel like I'm cheating, but then I remember that I colored the pre-colored images, so it's all good -- LOL! The sentiment I used is also included in the set, and reflects one of the guiding principles of my life: no matter how tough things get, no matter how many tragedies we face -- like the symbolic falling of an apparently healthy leaf from a tree -- God never falls, and never fails. That keeps me going every day!

On that thought, which I hope encourages you as much as it does me, I wish you a happy day and a wonderful weekend! Oh, and don't forget that we have a FREEBIE at the bottom of THIS POST for you to play with. If you use it, we'd love to see what you make, so please be sure to share!

We're BACK!!!

I'm so excited to announce that as of this morning, Deedee's Digis is back in business! You asked for it, and I'm so thankful to finally be able to deliver. You can find us at our new shop at Diane's Daydream Designs (TM). Diane Noble, owner of Diane's Daydream Designs (TM) is truly an amazing woman, and I feel so blessed to have been asked to bring my products to her store! Thank you, Diane!

So what can you expect to find in our shop? Right now, we have about 20+ sets available for purchase, including some of your old favorites, with many more on the way! The older images have been dusted off and polished to a shine, and much new artwork has been added. All of our sets now include pre-colored versions of the images in addition to the outlines, and some include printable digital papers as well. We've also separated all of the set elements for you, so cropping is no longer necessary. So much to be excited about, and all of this at the same budget-friendly prices we've always offered!

Here's a little preview of some of our new sets. Wouldn't they look perfect on your crafting table, or better yet, on a card or two? ;-)
