Deedee's Digis is growing and growing! Diane has been working overtime to get our newest sets uploaded to the shop -- thank you, Diane! We've added 11 new sets to the shop today. Some are totally new, such as the "Autumn Blessings," set that is featured at the top of today's post. Others are "oldies but goodie," that have been polished up with colored versions of the images added. Here's a peek at the rest of today's additions:

It is said that Labor Day is the gateway to September, and September the gateway to Fall. Well, it's September 3rd already, so as far as I'm concerned, Fall is HERE! Each season seems so short, especially in terms of crafting time, don't you think? So it only makes sense to take advantage of every possible moment, and enjoy the season to the fullest, right?
Designer NanaConnie has already begun her Fall crafting, as you can see in the two lovely cards featured here today. For both she used images from the "Just Becaws" set. The combination of rich colors, fun textures and festive accents really have me feeling the season. I think I'll go make a couple of Fall cards of my own -- how about you? :-)

I love three-day weekends, don't you? It's so nice to have the extra time with family, and to get things done around my home. But I also think it's important to remember the reasons why we have these extra days off. Labor Day acknowledges and celebrates the important contributions of the everyday American worker. Despite a slower economy the last few years, we continue to be one of the most productive countries in the world, and that is due to the tireless efforts of all of the "little people." Whatever your line of work, from stay-at-home mom to corporate executive, I salute you for your hard work. Now go do something relaxing to enjoy your well-earned day off! :-)
And speaking of relaxing, I wanted to share this darling card that DT member Carol Longacre made. This puppy is having a nice nap and dreaming the day away -- there is nothing more relaxing than that! Carol used the colored image from the "Darling Doggies" set, but added her own flair to it, with a little shading for grounding and air, and a dollar stamp image of a bone in the little dream cloud. She also used the printable papers and one of the sentiments that are included in this set. So sweet!
If you're of the mind to spend your extra day off crafting, we have lots of fun digis in our shop, with more being added all the time. There's also a couple of freebies you can snag here on the blog (click the "freebies" label in our right sidebar to find the posts to which they're attached). Happy Labor Day!
