There are still a couple of weeks left to participate in our October "Digi of the Month" challenge! This month's digi -- "Fall Bulldog" -- is free to everyone. Click on the "Challenges" button at the top of the page to read the full details and snag this darling doggie! At the end of the challenge (3 November deadline for submissions), everyone who played along with this month's challenge will receive the November "Digi of the Month" for free. Here's some fresh inspiration from our designers using this month's digi to get you thinking. We sure hope you'll join us! :-)
At the top of today's post we have a darling card made by Stephanie Wright. Stephanie made this with her precious grandson in mind, who was asking for some happy mail from Grandma. You can tell Stephanie put a lot of love into this, and I can only imagine how tickled her grandson was to get this sweet card in the mail!
Here is one made by Carol Longacre. From the wonderful papers to the leafy border and accents Carol added, this card has "the beauty of Fall" written all over it!
And finally, here is one that I made for one of my nephews. These fun papers, by the way, are part of a collection called "Fall Papers" and are available at Diane's Daydream Designs (TM), the larger store that hosts our shop. I think I've mentioned before what a talented designer Diane Noble is! ;-)
As you can see, we all used the precolored version of the image, but both the precolored and outline versions are available to use. I hope that we've inspired you to play along with us, and can't wait to see what you make! Remember to click on the "Challenges" button at the top of the page to grab this digi and submit your entry.

One of the fun things about digis is that they can be used in both printed and digital form, giving you amazing flexibility in your crafting. You can print them out on paper to use as accents on your cards and gift items, but you can also use them in their original digital format as accents for digital scrapbooking. Today I thought I'd share a few digital scrapbook pages made with our digis.
This first page celebrates a precious reunion that I had this last summer. My two sisters and I were separated by adoption 32 years ago, but found each other again through Facebook a couple of years ago. (God is so good!!!) In August, I finally got to "meet" my youngest sister, Cynthia. Words can't begin to describe how good it felt to hug her for the first time in so many years, but hopefully I've captured some of the joy in this page. To make this page, I used elements from the "Stitched With Love" set.
Here is a lovely page made by designer Melissa Craig. Melissa is an avid digital scrapbooker, and has such a wonderful eye for detail! Here she created a page that is as warm and festive as the holiday decorations in her home, using the angel from the "Country Christmas" set as an accent.
This is another page created by Melissa, using the October "Digi of the Month" -- "Fall Bulldog." Everything about this page makes me smile, and I find myself wanting to jump right into that pile of leaves with her children!
Finally, here is another page that I created to celebrate another amazing reunion that I had this year. In May I was able to reconnect with my dear childhood friend, Annette. For this page, I used elements from the "Lots of Thoughts" set.
As you can hopefully see, digis are definitely useful for more than just cards! :-)

We are very excited to be sponsoring this week at Twist of Faith Card Challenges! This is a lovely challenge that encourages participants to share cards made with Scripture or verses of encouragement. Their challenge theme this week is "Things with Wings." We have lots of "things with wings" in our digi shop, including the peaceful Christmas Cardinal set used on my card today. I hope you'll stop by and play along with this week's challenge at Twist of Faith. One lucky winner will get to choose three of our digi sets just for playing along!
And speaking of challenges, I wanted to remind you about our "Digi of the Month" progressive freebie challenge. We have a darling "Fall Bulldog digi" that you can snag for free this month. If you use it in a project and share the link on the challenge post by the deadline (3 November), you'll receive next month's "Digi of the Month" set totally for free at the end of this month's challenge! I know by the comments left that several of you have snagged this month's digi. I would sure love to see what you make with it. ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving today to our friends and fellow crafters in Canada! We hope that you have a beautiful day today, however you are spending the holiday. Here in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving near the end of November. But no matter when one celebrates the holiday itself, any day is a good day to give thanks! :-)
The little turkey on my card today (from the Turkey Day set) is all ready for Thanksgiving, and giving thanks that he is not on this year's menu. It's always important to count your blessings, don't you think?
