Kindness: it is one of the simplest and yet most powerful gifts we can share with others. Today's Scrapbook Saturday layout by designer Melissa Craig celebrates this amazing gift. I do not know the story behind the photo at the center of Melissa's beautiful page, but when I saw it, it brought tears to my eyes. We all know the power of a simple touch, and especially that of a loving hand reaching out to hold our own, and that power is evident in this photo. Beautiful!!!
To create this lovely layout, Melissa used elements from the "Little Miracles" set. The quilted background she created using the digital papers from this set is such a wonderful backdrop for this photo, and the little dragonflies add just a touch of whimsy. Of course, the journaling says it best, "How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it." Indeed!

Seashells are such treasures! Each one is a miniature of exquisiteness, an amazing reminder of God's awesome creative power. Seashells inspire curiosity, not only at their design, but at the idea of where they might have traveled before landing on our shores. And of course, they make wonderful keepsakes! My own children have quite the extensive collection of them, each one vividly associated with some warm memory.
Today we have an exquisite seashells-based card made by designer Stephanie Wright to share with you. Stephanie used an image and printable papers from the "Seashells" set, along with some lovely Scripture art by Karen Murray to create this. Here's how she decorated the inside:
I love how Stephanie carried the theme all the way through the whole card. So lovely, just like a seashell!

The school year is already nearing its close -- can you believe it? My kids and I always like to do a little something at the end of each school year to thank their teachers for their hard work. Teachers play such a crucial role in our children's lives, and I can't even imagine how tough their job is. Rewarding, yes, but tough, too, and a little extra "thank you" never goes awry! :-)
Today we have a darling teacher thank you card created by designer Rhonda Miller. Rhonda used the chalkboard and chalk images from the "Chalk Talk" set to make this. The "binder paper" and sweet owls border combine to make a delightful backdrop for these images. But best of all is Rhonda's handwritten "Thank you!" This makes this very personal, and truly a treasure!

Wow, this month is flying by! Before we know it summer will be here! We have already moved into our third week of the current Digi of the Month challenge. This month's featured set is "Not a Tie," and today we have a totally adorable card made by designer Lynn Hayes to share with you. Lynn used the precolored Papa panda image from the set, and coupled it with this festive, dotty background paper. As is her style, Lynn has kept this simple but fun, adding little touches like the scalloping around the bottom of the image frame and the twine bow to finish it so beautifully!
There is still plenty of time left to play in this month's challenge. Link up any project, big or small, fancy or simple. Just make sure that it's made with this month's featured set by 1 June, and once this challenge ends, you'll receive next month's set for FREE.
Have a great day, and happy crafting! :-)
