Hooray for a new day!

Debi, our Guest Designer for April, lives in Pennsylvania which is right next door to my home state of Ohio.  Living in the northern part of the country, we have this thing called winter that makes some of us (especially me) want to hibernate for the winter.  But Spring is here and Debi's card this week certainly brought a smile to my face because it's how I feel now that winter is over.  She used one of my favorite sets called "Hello Spring".  You can find that set here (for non-EU residents) or here (for EU residents).  Once again Debi has impressed my socks off!!!!  Her card is a lever card - she's so clever!!!  Isn't this just adorable??:

I asked Debi to share with us a bit about what are her "go-to" items when creating.  Here's her answer:

The first thing I couldn't live without is a good pair of sharp, pointy scissors because I love to paper piece, layer and fussy cut.  The second tool that I use often is my cuttlebug and stash of embossing folders.  I also use the cuttlebug for some die cuts, but embossing gives an added texture to my cards that I like.  And, finally, without my computer and printer I wouldn't be able to use any of the fabulous digi images available.

Debi loves her Cuttlebug...and I don't think I could live without my but either.  So what are your go-to items?  Why not head over to Deedee's Digis shop and grab a new set or two and then use those go-to items...maybe even in a new way....

Don't forget to stop by Debi's blog - That Might Look Good On A Card - and leave her some love.  Be prepared to be inspired!  And be sure to come back here next Wednesday...you won't want to miss what she's made next....You'll be AMAZED!

God bless you today!!!!

  1. Debi, this is a fabulous card and such a wonderful sight for us here in New England also. I have never even attempted a lever card. This is a great look. Thanks for sharing.
