Let's Play at Through the Craft Room Door

The team at Through the Craft Room Door really makes it fun to play along with their challenges! Every challenge is "Anything Goes," so you can totally express yourself through your project. And not only could you win a $15 gift code to our shop by playing along there this week, but you could also win one of their coveted Guest Designer spots! You could even have your card featured in their bi-monthly digital magazine if your project is chosen as one of their weekly Top 3! If those aren't good reasons to play along, I don't know what are! :-)

Some of our team had fun playing along. Here's what they came up with:

How darling is this?!? Mary did such a beautiful job of crafting the "ocean" around Pippa Pig, from the wave pattern that she embossed on the background cardstock to all of the fun little sea creatures she added. It's a perfect summer card, and doesn't it just make you want to take a dip in the sea yourself?

What a sweet and elegant anniversary card! The colors that Tamara used convey a softness that I associate with love while the variety of die-cut shapes lend this a touch of vintage and the passage of time. Just right for celebrating a wedding anniversary!

I am so used to seeing this little snail in her pre-colored form that I was almost startled to see her colored differently -- ha ha! But aren't these bright, clear, summery colors that NanaConnie used for her wonderful? The subtle patterns in the background paper and bow combine with this beautifully colored image to make a wonderful summer friendship card!

Here's a fun one by Sandy. She was so clever to use this little mouse image to make a 4th of July card! Although she used the pre-colored image, she also added her own little touches, making some lovely grass using her Copic markers, and glossing up the bubbles. Those gold stars are so fun, too!

So, what will YOU make to share at Through the Craft Room Door? We can't wait to see!
