Mr. & Mrs. with Sarah Taylor

"Mr. & Mrs."...that has a lovely ring to it, doesn't it? (No pun intended!) For today's share, our January Guest Designer, Sarah Taylor, has created a stunning "Mr. & Mrs." card using elements from the "Loads of Love" digi set (available HERE for our European Union customers and HERE for our non-EU customers).

Sarah started with a layered black and white cardstock base, giving the card a formal feel. She incorporated subtly-patterned love/wedding papers to set the theme. She then carried the color combination from these papers into her focal image, bringing this sweet scene of love to life! The sponged clouds and sky, not to mention the carefully brushed blades of grass, make for a beautiful backdrop to the hanging hats. Can't you just feel the warmth of the day she created here? And just look at the wonderful shading she achieved on the hats, especially the "Mrs." hat. Can you can see where she added bits of gray to indicate the little valleys in the brim? Very clever! The organdy-and-satin bow, and that precious wedding cake charm finish this off so elegantly, and leave no doubt as to the theme of the card. Whether for an engagement, wedding, or anniversary -- this card will no doubt be cherished by the loving couple!

To see more of Sarah's fabulous creations, be sure to visit her blog -- "Aunt Bee's Pickles." Of course, you can also stop back here next Wednesday when we'll be privileged to share another with you as well.
