Getting Stitchy with Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge!

We're excited to be sponsoring a brand-new-to-us challenge this week: Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge!  The theme for this week's challenge is "Stitching" (real or faux). Stitching -- whether real or simulated -- always makes a project look so beautifully "finished," don't you think? Some of our team members got stitchy for this challenge, and we hope you will, too! Don't forget that by playing along, you could win a $15 gift code to our shop! :-)

Believe You Can Fly with Sarah Taylor

So much of success in life is about believing in ourselves. God always has faith in us, and is always working to help us to succeed, but we need to have faith in ourselves, and do our part to use the opportunities and gifts that He sends our way. One of the really fun things about digis is being able to use them to create cards and other projects to encourage others to do just this!

For her last share as our January Guest Designer, Sarah Taylor has created a wonderful card of encouragement, using elements from the "Lifted Up" set (available HERE for EU residents and HERE for non-EU residents). Sarah sponged both the inside and the outside of the card to create a beautiful, cloud-filled sky. She printed the sentiment -- "Believe you can fly!" on the inside piece, and then cut a window through the front of the card so that it can be seen whether the card is open or closed. She printed and colored the kite so beautifully, and then fussy-cut the image so that she could attach it to an actual piece of string. She layered her carefully-crafted kite over the window frame, and voila -- a delightful card of encouragement! Wouldn't getting this in the mail make you feel encouraged? I could totally see setting this on a shelf to look at as a daily reminder! :-)

We have really appreciated having Sarah Taylor as our Guest Designer this month, and getting to see just a few of her fantastic project ideas. Thank you so much, Sarah!!! For more inspiration from Sarah, be sure to visit her blog, "Aunt Bee's Pickles."

All Laid Out for You at Tuesday Morning Sketches!

One of the biggest challenges that I find in crafting is figuring out how to lay things out. If this is a challenge for you, too, the ladies at Tuesday Morning Sketches can help! They've got it all laid out for you with this week's fabulous new sketch, and all you have to decide on are the digis, papers, and embellishments you want to make a fabulous card! Stop over and take a peek at this week's sketch, and if you make a card, be sure to link it up there for a chance to win a $15 gift code to our shop. Here's what some of our team members made with the sketch. What will you make? :-)
